What Is Allergy Testing?

Types of Allergy Tests We Offer

Skin Prick Test (SPT): The most common test where small amounts of suspected allergens are placed on your skin using tiny pricks. Results are available within 15-20 minutes.
Intradermal Testing: A small amount of allergen is injected under the skin for more sensitive detection of allergies.
Patch Testing: Used to identify contact allergies. Patches containing allergens are applied to your back for 48 hours.
Blood Tests (IgE): A blood sample is analyzed to measure allergen-specific antibodies in your system.

Wear comfortable clothing with easy access to your arms and back.

What Happens After Testing?

Once your allergens are identified, Dr. Sabir Hussain will create a personalized treatment plan that may include allergen avoidance strategies, medication management, or immunotherapy (allergy shots) to build long-term tolerance.
